Bringing Back The Carnival Experience

It all started with a home deep fryer and a gluten-free Oreo. In 2023, The Silly Yak opened at the Erie County Fair, and we’re excited to be back for a 3rd season in 2025. During the fair, we offer a special menu with exclusive carnival-style food items that you can ONLY get during our 12-day stay at the Erie County Fair.

Classic Corn Dog

All beef hot dog dipped in our house made batter, fried to perfection

Jalapeno Queso Dog

Our classic corn dog, smothered in white cheddar queso and topped with chopped fresh jalapenos

Chili Cheese Dog

Our classic corn dog, topped with chili, nacho cheese, and house made pickled red onions

SAVORY TREATS

Blooming Onion

Just like you remember them. A flowered onion, coated in breading and deep fried. Served with a side of blooming onion sauce.

Fresh Cut Fries

Freshly cut throughout the day. Available in cajun as well!

Chili Cheese Fries

Our fresh cut fries, topped with chili and nacho cheese.

Deep Fried Oreos

Nabisco gluten-free Oreos, dipped in batter and deep fried. Served with powdered sugar

Classic Funnel Cake

Just like it sounds! Topped with your choice of cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar, or both! We're not judging.

Apple Pie Funnel Cake

Our classic funnel cake, topped with warm apple pie filling and powdered sugar.
